History: Story of the World

Students will learn about narrative structure, plot, character development, and story archetypes. Students may construct an art project, perform in a reader’s theater, create their own stories, or explore the world of the story.  

Students will have the opportunity to explore reading and writing in a fun and engaging environment.

This semester we will focus on learning about the human body.  Students will conduct experiments, dissection, make working models, create art projects, and play games as they learn about the mysteries of the human body. 

Come learn important skills for navigating life in our NEW Life Skills class! In this class, students will cover topics such as first aid, Sign Language, sewing & mending, manners, goal-setting, following recipes or rules of a game, and much more. 


Students will engage in real-life learning to develop skills that will help them to successfully navigate their world.

Exploring Knowledge Together

Join us for a fun-filled day that weaves educational exploration into art, science, and history. This learning journey steers students to engage in critical thinking, experiential learning, problem-solving, and the joys of the creative process.

During the Story of the World (9-10:30am) lessons, students will learn about world history through stories, art, hands-on activities, and games.  Our instructors will engage and inspire students to develop a love of history.  The class topics are taken from the textbook, Story of the World.  

In the next session, students explore the Beautiful Realm of Art (10:30-noon); learning about drawing, painting, clay modeling, and construction paper crafting. Creating their own masterpiece every day.  Many of the lessons will be integrated with the topics studied in Marvels of Science.

During lunchtime (Noon-12:30pm) students are encouraged to bring healthy lunches and to refrain from bringing any nuts.

At the end of their learning expedition, students will discover the many Marvels of Science. (12:30-2pm)  This semester we will focus on learning about the human body.  Students will conduct experiments, dissection, make working models, create art projects, and play games as they learn about the mysteries of the human body. 

You may select Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday classes for a full day (9-2 P.M), or individual classes.  You can sign up for a semester or 10 weeks.  The class size is limited to 12-15 students to ensure tailored instruction and educational quality assurance.
